The Traitor Guard expansion brings a new playable hero and two alternative scenarios to Perdition’s Mouth. The scenarios can be played as one offs or as part of the Abyssal Rift campaign. Perdition’s Mouth: Abyssal Rift is required to use the Traitor Guard expansion. The new Hero, Brother Örn, is a fallen guard who has been accused of being a traitor by his compatriots. Trustworthy? No way! But having a common enemy makes for a good motive for cooperation, especially if one is in dire trouble.

To all present and future backers,
We are close to the end of this epic journey! Tomorrow we will witness the renowned 48h to closure mark of this campaign and so far it’s been quite a ride. You’ve reached all of our initial goals in less than three days, which forced us to put our thinking cap on. And we came up with some great new stretch goals which are also mostly reached - yet - there is still something to gain. Let’s make the last days matter and unlock every single bit there is to unlock.
Friday the 4th news flash
Today has been a day riddled with IT errors, as our server experienced PHP problems. Those are being dealt with, but we’ve managed to update the PMTG campaign page, regardless. Our graphics team has been working hard to get all materials to printers right after the end of campaign. A new deck “booster treasures” unlocked in social goals. Those will allow everyone to adjust PM:AR and PMTG towards an easier difficulty, if that is what you want. That required us to think card backs from a new perspective as those treasures work just as normal ones, but are given out one per hero at the beginning and should never be mixed with the “standard” treasures. This is what we came up with. Should we have it with just PM logo or with PMTG logo? As the cards come with PMTG only, but are intended for the whole PM:AR this is a riddle where we’d appreciate your feedback. Please post comments. We’ll select the one that gets most votes by the end of campaign.
Playtesters preview.
Awhile ago I was asked to participate as a playtester in the then upcoming expansion “traitor guard”. I was delighted to see that there was a very professional and friendly team surrounding the Perdition’s mouth: Abyssal Rift game and was even happier to find that my feedback on the playtested material was meet with a lot of interest and fruitful discussion.
As the months went by I was invited to be officially part of the team and to make a series of preview videos for the new scenarios being released with this expansionFrom today on until the end of the campaign I am happy to announce that there will be one such video posted every day until the end of the Campaign giving you a feel for what the new scenarios added in this campaign are like.

Greetings fellow warriors!
The last 48 hour rush of this campaign is soon upon us which will be greeted by a special greeting from the entire DDP team!
But before that I have that honour of announcing that another social goal has fallen victim to your relentless pursuit.
Through the 550 Facebook likes you've gathered you've managed to unlock more goodies for all backers!
While you've been out on the battlefield, keeping the cult at bay our house painter has been toiling away in our hideout so that we would be able to present to you the very first painted brother Örn figure!
Stay Alert for there will still be much to come as we rush to our final victory!
A challenge for those who are brave of heart!

Greetings brave companions!
The fight goes on against the relentless ill-doings of those who worship the insectoid god and so we come to you again asking for your support!
Many sharp eyes have been laid on our game and many opinions have been made but we are still in search of more brave souls, willing to defy the horrors of the Abyssal Rift.
So what we want to ask you dear backers is if you know anyone, or perhaps you are yourself, reviewers willing to try out Perdition's Mouth: Abyssal Rift?
Especially reviewers in the EU(first and foremost Spanish and french) and Australia are what we are searching for.
But for those of other talents with a will to support the cause (and looking for a chance of winning a reward) we are now announcing a scenario writing contest!
We encourage anyone willing to write a full scenario (in english) and send their suggestions to us at Dragon dawn production and the winner will be rewarded a copy of “Black Hat”, one of our previous game. The winner will be announced at the end of September 2017.
We know that our requests have been many tonight but also all of yours unrelenting resolve makes us believe that it is all possible. Despite the resounding success of this campaign there are more goals to be achieved. Social goals are still within reach and the last two stretch goals are not far away. Let’s make the last days an unrelenting upward push.
And as a final note we'd like to reward your patience and unwavering resilience with a few pieces of inspiration from our grand master artist Jamie Noble!
Will anybody heed the call?

Good evening,
Our update tonight starts with a question and an answer. In our feverish struggle against the cult of the insectoide cult, miniatures market has decided to support us by lowering the price of the Perdition’s mouth: Abyssal Rift base game to the unprecedented price of 65$.
For those of you who are yet to encounter Miniatures market, they are a major online retailer in the US very well worth checking out.
Furthermore, in our attempts to muster more forces we have finally gotten our BGG page up for the traitor guard expansion. We do encourage you all to go there and give it a look, and maybe a like
:).
Last but not least, we would like to come back to the question that named this update:
Many of you have gathered here to help us and support our unrelenting struggle against the Cult, but more support would still be helpful. In particular, for the Traitor Guard expansion we are looking for one or more brave souls willing to help us with this campaigns BackerKit.
For the future we are planning a big box expansion called “soul spire” for which we are still looking for playtesters. We do expect play testers to be active and willing to try out a variety of playstyles to really test the system.
Are YOU daring enough to tackle one or more of these tasks?
Feel free to contact us!
Something sweet, something partially charged...

Beloved backers,
As we have shared in our last update, we are pursuing possibilities to translate Perdition's Mouth: Abyssal Rift into several languages, allowing more people to join the cause and to fight the cult.
We've secured support for a German translation which will be available in Q3 of this year in time for the reprint. Through the unrelenting resolve of the DDP team there is now also hope for a French translation.
Last but not least we woke up today to the beautiful sight of 500 likes on boardgamegeek! This means that another two treasure cards have been unlocked.
The first one is a piece of Elven Candy, a sweet little treat to strengthen one’s morale while facing the unforgiving onslaught of the cult. It will grant the hero a one time effect of removing one fatigue.
The second one is a Partially Charged Teleportation Crystal, not unlike those used by our nefarious enemies, the summoners. This allows heroes to once teleport diagonally.
Of course we have not forgotten all that you've unlocked so far. One of our art masters, Matthias Catrein, has been hard at work so that you'll be able to feast your eyes on this “potion of toughness”.
